VT Duality is a blade that has two sides with different speeds. The faster side (indicated in the photo is OFF side), and the slower side (DEF side).
The layers of wood in VT Duality are selected in such a way as to provide different speeds of rebound of the ball on different sides of the blade. Using balsa under the outer layer of abashi veneer gives improved ball control on that side. This gives a number of playing advantages, for example, you can play the backhand slower with a greater level of control, and the forehand faster and more powerful. In addition, all types of pips out rubbers play well on the DEF side.
The blade design is 6-layer, abachi and balsa are used as the central layer. The VT Duality blade is ideal for an active defensive style of play (with a powerful attack on the forehand) or for a combined style of play with a block on the backhand and attack on the forehand. The blade has an increased size, which increases the sweet spot for rebound.
Superb gaming performance and excellent value for money come together in the VT Duality.
The blade is made by hand using a special gluing technology. The result is superior ball feel, durability and blade strength.
The handle of the blade is made of willow and alder wood. The surface of the blade is covered with a layer of varnish for reliable protection and to prevent fibers from being pulled out and chipped. The handle is uncoated.
